    Thank you for your interest in becoming a tour guide for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions!

    To be considered for this position, please submit your completed application by Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. EST. Late applications will not be accepted. Please note that you will not be able to save your application before submitting. While you may view all questions below prior to submission, please complete and submit your application in one sitting or your answers will be lost.

    Group Interviews: Selected applicants will be asked to participate in a group interview session in January after Winter Break. Selected applicants will be sent an email to register for one of these sessions.

    Requirements

    Please review the following requirements before filling out this application.

    • Applicants cannot have an anticipated graduation date before December 2023.
    • All applicants must be available for the two training days: Jan. 28 and Feb. 4 from noon-4 p.m. No exceptions will be made and your application will not be considered if you cannot attend training.
    • Tours are scheduled between 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Tour guides are expected to provide availability for at least two tours/week and must be willing to schedule classes and other commitments around the tour schedule.
    • Tour guides are expected to provide full Saturday availability, including during football season. Tour guides will be scheduled to lead tours on the mornings of home football games and will be released at least 30 minutes prior to kickoff. The only exceptions to this policy are documented academic conflicts or involvement in marching band. Please do not apply if you are not willing to make this commitment.
    • Tour guides must attend a meeting on the first Thursday of each month from 5:30-7 p.m. Excused absences will be given for documented academic conflicts.
    If you cannot meet these requirements, it is strongly recommended that you do not apply. Your application will not be considered. If hired, you are still responsible to meet these requirements on a continuous and ongoing basis. Failure to meet these requirements will result in termination of the position.
