Campus Day for Michigan Engineering

Campus Day provides admitted students and their families the opportunity to see our campus, speak with currently enrolled students, and have questions answered as they consider enrolling at Michigan.

Please review the schedule for admitted students to Michigan Engineering and then register for an available date listed below.

Can’t find a Campus Day date that works with your schedule or attend a full-day event? For another opportunity to visit campus, we welcome you to register for one of our 75-minute Admitted Student Tours, which are tailored specifically for admitted students. (Note: You will only be able to sign up for either an Admitted Student Tour or Campus Day, not both.)

Schedule

Engineering students attending Campus Day will participate in a series of activities hosted by Michigan Engineering, including a tour and walk-in advising.

7:30-8:30 a.m.
Check-in, Michigan Learning Community (MLC) fair, and financial aid advising

8:40-9:40 a.m.
Welcome: Uniquely Michigan and housing presentations

9:50-10:25 a.m.
Information Panel: Student Life at Michigan

10:30 a.m.-1 p.m.
Outdoor walking tour, lunch, and drop off at afternoon session

1-3:30 p.m.
Visit Michigan Engineering

Tour or Department Highlight
Engineering Info Fair

Engineering Campus Day participants will select either the North Campus Engineering Tour or a department highlight for their afternoon activity.

The North Campus Engineering Tour gives a broad overview of Michigan Engineering and shows off multiple facilities across North Campus.
Department highlights give guests the opportunity to learn more about a specific Engineering department by viewing individual department facilities and learning about a specific academic program.

Engineering Campus Day concludes with a small info fair, where students will have the opportunity to speak with Michigan Engineering students, staff, and obtain department materials.

Engineering Department Highlights

Department highlights allow guests to learn more about a specific engineering discipline. Attending a Michigan Engineering department highlight has no bearing on whether a student will ultimately declare that major. Highlights also serve as a more focused alternative to the North Campus Engineering Tour.
